Magical Herbs
The "herbs" listed here were chosen for their ease of availability, each one can be found in your local grocery store. But keep in mind that these are just a small selection of the many wonderful herbs that can be used to enhance your magical workings. The magical uses listed are also just a sampling of the possible uses for each herb.

Most of the better books on magical technique will contain a section detailing other herbs and their magical uses. Some suggested uses for these herbs are:
1) Dried and/or fresh herbs can be steeped in warm almond oil or water to make anointing oils and potions;
2) Placed in appropriately colored bags and carried as magical sachets or charms;
3) Dried herbs can be combined and burned on incense-specific charcoals as incense;
4) Edible herbs can be charged for a specific purpose and added to your favorite dishes.
The uses to which magical herbs can be put is limited only by your imagination and magical instincts. But take care not to consume *any* herb or plant which you are not 100% certain of. Two very useful books on herbs and their uses are:
